How does Innovative Title Services protect my information?

Information You Voluntarily Provide Through Our Website
Information that you voluntarily provide directly to Innovative Title Services through our website—including information submitted through a contact form, inquiry, request for information, or other website features are not considered anonymous website analytics information.

Transactional Text Messaging
Innovative Title Services may use text messaging to communicate with customers regarding their current title, escrow, settlement, insurance, or closing transaction.
Text messages may include information necessary to facilitate or administer your current transaction, including:

Appointment or closing confirmations;

Scheduling and coordination information;

Communication from your processor, closer, or other members of our transaction team;

Questions or responses regarding your current transaction; and

Our transactional text messaging program is intended solely for communication regarding your current transaction or closing and is not intended for general marketing or promotional messages.
How to Opt In
Customers may either send a text message directly to their processor or closer to initiate the conversation, which will opt them in for conversational texting, or provide any member of our team with verbal consent at any point in time. All calls are recorded for quality, training, and retention of consent or withdrawal of consent from text messaging. Reply STOP to opt-out; Reply HELP for support; Message & data rates may apply; Messaging frequency may vary.
By initiating a text conversation with your processor or closer, or by providing verbal consent to a member of the Innovative Title Services team, you consent to receive transactional text messages relating to your current transaction or closing.
Consent to receive transactional text messages is not a condition of purchasing title insurance or obtaining services from Innovative Title Services. Customers who do not wish to communicate by text may communicate with us by telephone, email, or other available methods.
How to Opt Out
You may withdraw your consent to receive transactional text messages at any time.

Once an opt-out request is received, we will take reasonable steps to discontinue conversation

Because text messages may contain sensitive transaction-related information, customers should use caution when transmitting confidential information by text message. Innovative Title Services may direct customers to use a secure method when sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, financial information, wire instructions, passwords, access codes, or other confidential information, is involved.
Call Recording and Consent Records
Calls with Innovative Title Services may be recorded for quality, training, and retention of consent or withdrawal of consent from text messaging.
Recorded calls may be maintained as business records and may be used to document a customer's consent to or withdrawal from transactional text messaging.
Why Can't I Limit All Sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only:

Sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness;

Affiliates from using your information to market to you; and
-
Sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you.
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. See below for more on your rights under state law.
Definitions
Affiliates
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial or nonfinancial companies.
Nonaffiliates
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
Innovative Title Services does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint Marketing
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
Innovative Title Services does not jointly market.
How To Review and Correct Your Personal Information
Can you review the personal information that we have about you?
If you have questions about what personal information we maintain about you, please send a request electronically by contacting us at info@itsfla.com, and include your:

Full name;

Address;
-
Telephone number; and
-
Policy number, if applicable.
Within 30 business days of receipt of your written request, we will describe the personal information we maintain, any parties with whom we have shared it within the last 2 years, and how you may request a correction of our information, if necessary.
You may review the information at our offices or receive a copy of it for a fee to cover our costs.
We will not provide information that we feel is privileged, such as information about insurance claims or lawsuits.
Can you correct the personal information that we have about you?
To request a correction of personal information about you, send a written request as described above, explaining the desired correction.
Within 30 business days, we will either make the requested correction or tell you why we will not.
We cannot correct Consumer Report Information. To do this, you must contact the consumer reporting agencies that provided it.
If we make the requested correction, we will notify you in writing and we will also notify anyone:

Who may have given or furnished the original information;

Whom you designate who may have received the original information within the 2 years before the date we made the correction; and
-
Any insurance-support organization whose primary source of personal information is an insurance institution if that organization has systemically received such information from us within the preceding 7 years and continues to maintain information about you.
If we do not make the correction, you may submit a written statement as to why you disagree with our decision, which will be saved in your file. We will send it to the same persons to whom we would send a copy of any correction or change.
