Homestead Exemption Information
***Attention Homeowners***
If you own and occupy Florida property and as your permanent residence, as of January 1, applying for Homestead exemption could reduce taxable value of your Homestead property by up to $50,000, and cap annual property assessment increases at 3%.
Applications must be submitted by March 1 of the year for which you are applying.
Failure to do so constitutes a waiver of the exemption.
